PUBLICATIONS Rick’s earth observations photos have been published in National Geographic magazine and the book Orbit: The Astronaut’s View of Home. In addition to numerous technical papers, military leadership and strategy treatises, and newspaper and magazine articles, he also contributed to Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s book, The Nature of Leadership.

Currently Rick is working on a joint book project with a noted leadership and organizational development author. Future plans include publishing a teamwork guide, book of photography of the United States from space, personal reflections on the human side of space flight, and a children’s book.
